Copywriter by day, writer by night: I have a background in PR, editorial and award winning advertising in two languages. Chronically curious. I find life hilarious and turn it into stories I’d like to see and very weird art that I’m not gonna show here.
Worked in Istanbul, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam.
Now in Berlin at antoni_garage, experimenting with Mercedes-Benz.
IT ALL started WITH PR
Istanbul, 2012. I’m both fascinated and terrified by how Edward Bernays made everyone love the color green. Studied Brand Management on top of my B.A in PR and Advertising and finished two degrees simultaneously.
WORKED FOR EDITORIAL
As an editor who does all kinds of stuff: writing about cinema, music, arts, reporting the best events in town, interviewing with the artists, writing festival lineup bios, managing social media accounts, and whatever comes up.
sWITCHED TO AD WORLD
Out of curiosity, I turned out to be a copywriter and made my mom angry for not getting enough sleep. Worked for more brands than my age at the time — including WWF Turkey, Peugeot, UNFPA, Mentos, Vivident.
LEFT THE COMFORT ZONE
I packed my 9 years of Istanbul experience and came to Berlin, started in Miami Ad School, honed my craft in a different language, learned Adobe, picked up unneccasary amount of hobbies, worked in 4 different countries.
